First Post and Fall Shopping!

Well I guess the best way to start is to to just say what this blog is going to be about!

I love to shop and most of the things I buy are fashion and beauty related. I am a plus size girl so obviously the clothing is going to be plus size clothing (although a lot of the places I shop offer the same styles in plus size and smaller size clothing -- just FYI). I also love makeup and so at times may offer up some of the latest makeup items that I have bought.

I know that there are a TON of these types of blog posts floating out in the world and I fought with myself about creating yet another one, but I finally decided that I really wanted to share my thoughts and opinions about clothing and makeup too. So enjoy!

Fall is just around the corner and as I was sorting through some of my old fall clothing items I discovered that I was in desperate need of some new clothes. So I headed out to JC Penney and the Fashion Bug to see what they had to offer and found some super cute clothes and a really great deal!

JC Penney

I have always found really cute clothes at JC Penney in the past so I new that it would be a great place to start and I was right! (I do so love being right) I will admit that the outfit I bought was totally the same outfit that they had on displayed but it was just so darn cute that I had to buy it.

This is as top that I would have picked out even if it had't been on the display if only for the fact that it is black and white stripe (a real favorite scheme of mine) and has a pocket. It thin and kind of sheer, so a cami will be worn underneath obviously, and it's just perfect for layering. I bought it a size larger just because I like my tee's a little larger and slouchy.

This sweater doesn't button, which is kind of a bummer, but otherwise it's a really adorable nautical themed fly away sweater. They only had this sweater left in a size smaller than what I normally buy so I was a little nervous when I went to try it on, but it actually turned out perfect. It balanced the bigger tee by being a little more form fitting and streamline.

Button close up (how cute is that!)

Both the tee and sweater are by a.n.a.

Fashion Bug

My next stop was Fashion Bug. And I really only wanted to check out there cami's because they're super inexpensive and come in tons of color (I did pick up a nude one and a black one but I didn't photograph them because they are just plain and kind of boring). ANYWAY, the deal of the week this week was boot cut jeans for $15! They only had my size in two washes (dark and light) and I bought the dark wash. I almost bought the light wash too but I controlled myself because I don't really think light washes are flattering on me and I knew I probably would never wear them so I was a good girl and left them at the store.

For some reason they're photographing much lighter then what they are (hmm), anywho they are super comfy and have just enough stretch that they fit really well but don't get all baggy as the day wears on. The only downer that I have about them is the back pockets. They're kind of big and have button flaps that I'm not super fond of but they still look OK (and seeings as I'm kind of flat in the rearend department they are kind of behind enhancing).

The last thing I picked up was a card wallet. I've been looking for one forever and was so excited that I finally found one. It's perfect because I have a million little discount cards and what not floating around in my big one that I can never find what I'm looking for, not to mention that it's hot pink and snake skin (my favorite animal print).

Well that's all for this time around hope you got some inspiration and happy shopping!
